As part of measures to support residents of Ayedaade Local Government in Osun State during the holy month of Ramadan, Dr Michael Olusegun Adejimi (MOA) and Hon. Adebayo Taiwo Olodo, former lawmaker representing Ayeedaade State Constituency, donated food palliatives to aid those observing the fast and others.

Recognizing the significance of Ramadan and the hardships faced by many, MOA said the measure is to alleviate some of the burdens faced by families and individuals during Ramadan.

He said, “During this blessed month, let us remember the values of compassion, empathy, and unity that lie at the heart of Ramadan. As we fast and reflect, let us also extend a helping hand to those in need within our community.”

He also urged Muslim faithful to remember Ayedaade LG, Osun State and Nigeria in the prayers.

“This is also to remind us to pray for our leaders, especially our President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He needs our prayers and support to steer the affairs of our nation in the right direction. I also urge patience from us all. He is a lover of the people and he is working to ensure that our current challenges are a thing of the past.”

Also speaking, Hon Olodo, while acknowledging the current challenges faced by the nation, urged Muslim faithful and residents to turn to God and continue praying for the nation.

He further thanked residents for the continued support for him and the party, the All Progressives Congress.
