Mayegun Support Foundation Shares Palliative to the Needies

A foundation known as Mayegun Support Foundation has distributed relief materials to several households in Osun State.

When addressing newsmen in osogbo the state capital recently, the Chief Executive Director, Barr. Akintunde Adegboye presented bags of rice, beans, garri, semovita, cartoon of noodles, packets of Maggie, vegetable oil, beverages, spaghetti and tomato pastes to the needies who include the widows, old people and the vulnerables.

Akintunde said the distribution was done to cushion the effect of hardship caused by the pandemic COVID19 which has made it difficult for many families to fend for their people.

According to him, the foundation joined other well meaning Nigerians who have assisted immensely the government at all levels to put smiles on the faces of the citizens.

Though, he said the foundation has reached out to many families like the orphanage and the old people at different homes and hospitals in the past before this period of lockdown in the country.

The donation has been solely bore by the family of the Chief Executive officer  ofthe foundation Hon. (Barr) Akintunde Adegboye which serves as his payback into the society who gave him the opportunity to serve his people at the Osun State House of Assembly as it’s Deputy Speaker between 2011 to 2019.

Adegboye noted that the foundation has planned to continually reaching out to more families in subsequent programmes. We do not write off volunteers who wish to support us to do morein our efforts to get to more people, he concluded.
