Prophet Muhammad Left An Enduring Legacy
The Prophet of Islaam, Muhammad,is one man whose birth into the World remains a blessing to mankind and so deserves to be celebrated at all times and not on his birthday alone.
Senator Ajibola Basiru of Osun Central Senatorial District made the assertion in a statement to mark the birth of the Prophet and felicitate with Muslims in Osun Central on the occasion.
Senator Basiru said Prophet said Prophet Muhammad did not just bring Islaam as a faith but came with legislations and guidelines that serve as a compass for man to navigate the murky waters of society without incuring the wrath of Allaah.
“Prophet Muhammad did not have a kingly birth but brought nobility to bear in his leadership of the Arabs and of course the entire World leading them out of darkness into light. He was a head of State,Commander in chief,Chief Judge, Finance Minister and Imaam without affecting his responsibilities at the home front. He remains an unequalled role model for mankind.”
Dr Ajibola Basiru enjoined the muslim Ummah and the entire World to emulate the virtues of Prophet Muhammad life as demonstrated in his kind heartedness, large heartedness,good neighbourliness and simplicity for peace to reign supreme in the land.
Prophet Muhammad was born in Makkah in AD 570,called to Prophethood in AD 610 and preached oneness of Allaah for 23 years in the face of persecution and annihilation.
