Breaking: Osun APC Suspend Members for Allegedly Involved In Anti Party Activities

Sequel to the meeting of Ileri Oluwa Progressive Group at Mayegun Debọ Badru Residence, Oke-Ore, Iwo which was held yesterday (Saturday 8th April, 2023).

The weekly meeting which was earlier suspended as a respect for the ongoing Ramadan fasting was reconvened to dissect pertinent party issue arising from the just concluded Presidential, National and State Assembly Elections. The meeting reviewed all the events before and after the election and counseled all members of the party to remain loyal and committed to the party as we anticipating recovery of Governor Oyetola mandate at Supreme Court.

The meeting noted with sadness how some notable members of the party involved in anti party activities which contributed to the massive failure recorded by the party in Iwoland, particularly, Iwo LG. After forth and back deliberations, the Group through one of its leaders, Mayegun Debọ Badru recommended that:
i. Hon Taofeek Alade Salam APALA of Ward 9 (Oke-Adan II), Iwo LG
ii. Chief Ganiyu Muhideen of Ward 10 (Oke-Adan Ward III), Iwo LG

iii. Baba Asimi Ajibola of Ward 9 (Oke-Adan II), Iwo LG Be suspended from the group including all her activities and were declared non granta to Mayegun Debo Badru house for alleged anti party activities with immediate effect pending the outcome of the ongoing investigations by the party in which the resolutions of the leaders regarding the matter pleased all members of the Group. Prayers were then made for smooth transition of Government from the outgoing President Muhammad Buhari to the incoming Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and for victory for Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola of APC at the Supreme Court by Islamic clerics and some selected old women before distribution of foodstuffs to all members of the group that present at the meeting as Ramadan gift.
