BANIK Hails Osun Ex-Deputy Speaker, Adegboye At 65

Former Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Osun State, Prince Adebayo Adeleke (Baniyk), has congratulated the former deputy speaker of the State House of Assembly, Barr. Akintunde Adegboye on his 65th birthday.

BANIK, in a congratulatory message made available to newsmen in Osogbo, on Saturday , praised Barr. Akintunde for being a reliable and trustworthy politician.

According to him, Akintunde is a progressive politician who has always been committed to good governance and service to the people.

He also commended Akintunde’s contribution to the growth and development of Osun State in the last 12 years of the progressive rules in different capacities in the state.

BANIK recalled how Akintunde used his position as the Deputy Speaker of the state parliament to bring about positive change to the state legislative arm of government and Nigeria at large.

He added that the emergence of Barr. Akintunde as a two-term elected deputy speaker is a testament that he is a seasoned technocrat, administrator, politician and committed democrat.
