This Is Not The Time For 2030 Ambitions — Osun City Boy Movement Caution Political Actors Back Oyetola Leadership

The outcome of the election should serve as a period of sober reflection for the APC family in Osun State. Rather than engage in blame games, accusations and unnecessary confrontation, we must examine what happened, identify our shortcomings, learn from the experience and develop a stronger strategy for the future.

The City Boy Movement therefore urges all party members, leaders, supporters and stakeholders to put aside personal grievances and individual political calculations.

This is not the time to begin campaigning for 2030.

Those who genuinely desire a stronger APC in Osun State must understand that the immediate task is to rebuild the party, strengthen its structures, reconnect with the people and restore confidence among the electorate.

We particularly urge members of the party to respect the leadership of the APC in the state and acknowledge the role of former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola as the recognised leader of the party in Osun State. At a moment like this, party unity, discipline and respect for established leadership are more important than individual ambitions.
