Asekunlowo Empowers Irewole Party Members, Organises Prayer For Tinubu’s Victory

Beneficiaries in their droves thronged the Irewole APC party secretariat at Laakosin, Ikire earlier today to be part of the second edition of Alhaji Idris Olayinka Oyeleke Asekunlowo initiative for the aged and widows coupled with special prayer session towards the victory of Tinubu/Shettima in the coming 2023 general elections.

The inaugural edition held on January 1st, 2023 saw hundreds of beneficiaries smile home to celebrate the new year.

The interdenominational prayer was conducted by the Chief Imam of Ikire land, Sheik Muslim Oladimeji Oladiran and the leadership of Christian Association of Nigeria(CAN), Ikire branch.

While speaking at the event, founder IOA Foundation and an APC chieftain, Alh. Idris Olayinka Oyeleke Asekunlowo attributed his contributions to the alleviation of the aged and widows in the society to one of the notable traits he learnt from Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He prayed for the emergence of the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the next president of Nigeria.

He pledged to the beneficiaries that the program will be a continuos exercise and will only get better.

One of the beneficiaries, Mrs Adeagbo Toyin who went home with a brand new grinding machine appreciated Alhaji Yinka Asekunlowo for the kind gesture and that it was a surprise to her as she has longed for the grinding machine for a while. She prayed for his success while she also pledged to mobilized her household to vote for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed in the 2023 general elections.

The event was concluded with the rendition of the popular Asiwaju’s mandate anthem.
