Aregbesola’s Ally, Adeoti, Rates PDP Gov’t High
A prominent leader in Osun State, Alhaji Moshood Adeoti, has adjudged the performance of Governor Ademola Adeleke in the last six months as impressive, noting that the governor has given so much attention to infrastructural development in the state since coming into office.
Adeoti, a close associate of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, is a former Secretary to the State Government and is facing allegation bordering on anti-party in the All Progresives Congress (APC).
He acknowledged Governor Adeleke’s impactful leadership in the state on Tuesday while speaking at an inauguration dinner in Abuja, saying there is nothing wrong in appreciating a leader who is doing well for the people.
The dinner was part of the series of events put up to mark the inauguration of Representatives Bamidele Salam, Mudashiru Lukman and Lanre Oladebo, into the 10th National Assembly.
“If we are looking at each other, anyone doing well, it is right for us to appreciate him,” the embattled politician who spoke in Yoruba language noted, adding that “God will continue to empower him to do more.”
“Help me tell him (Governor Adeleke) that he is doing well at this very moment. Help me to tell him that he is doing well at the moment,” he echoed to the cheers of Imole from the people in the hall.
