Banik Extols Baba Akande’s virtues at 85

Former Osun State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs and Chairman of Banik Community Development Foundation (BCDF), Prince Adebayo Adeleke, also known as Banik, has felicitated the erstwhile Interim Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the former Governor of Osun State, Chief Adebisi Akande on his 85th birthday, describing him as a living legend and a man of uncommon grace.

Adeleke, in a statement made available to Newsindicator, says Baba Akande, for years, has led an exemplary lifestyle that motivates many established as well as aspiring political leaders to serve the people creditably.

Hailing Baba Akande for being a detribalized Nigerian, Banik notes that the contributions of the Octogenarian to the peace and unity of the nation are responsible for the overwhelming supports he daily enjoys from across the length and breadth of the country.

The Ex-commissioner again submits that “Baba Akande has been a very passionate and patriotic Nigerian. He is a man who strongly believes in the unity and progress of Nigeria. Today, our prayer is that the good Lord will give him many more years in good health so that he can continue to give his wise counsel to the good people of Nigeria and the development of our dear nation.

“On behalf of my family and foundation, I wish our baba a happy birthday and many more years of uncommon blessings”, he adds.
