MOA Dismisses Primate Ayodele’s Prophecy, Affirms Osun APC’s Unity Ahead of 2026

Michael Olusegun Adejimi (MOA), an astute grassroots mobilizer from Ayedaade, Osun State, has urged the people of the state to disregard recent prophecies from prominent cleric Primate Elijah Ayodele regarding the Osun State APC and the 2026 gubernatorial election.

In a widely circulated video, Primate Ayodele claimed that the APC’s victory would depend on uniting former Osun governor Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola, currently the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, with former Minister of Interior Rauf Aregbesola under the Omoluabi Movement. The Osun State APC, however, has condemned this statement.

Reacting to the prophecy, MOA urged the public to view Primate Ayodele as “someone who just runs commentary on political issues to stay relevant.”

According to MOA, a quick check would reveal Primate Ayodele’s history of inaccurate prophecies, including a recent prediction for an English Premier League match between Liverpool and Luton. Ayodele had declared, “Liverpool will beat Luton very well. Liverpool will beat them with more than two goals.” However, the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

“Just like our party has said, it is important we disregard a man who makes guesses and calls them prophecies. Our party is united and poised for victory come 2026. The APC is stronger and more united in Osun. We don’t need a man known for many failed prophecies to unsettle us,” MOA stated.

He also encouraged citizens to focus on facts and avoid letting fear influence their actions.
