Osun PDP And Its Phoney Defection Of Non-existing OYSF Members
The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has pitied the state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for falling victim of scammers who posed as members of the Omisore Youth Support Firum(OYSF) who fraudulently announced their defection from the supporters of an illustrious chieftain of our party, Senator Iyiola Omisore.
The Osun State PDP chapter in Osogbo on Wednesday rolled out the drums under the pretence of welcoming into the party some purported defected members of the OYSF, framing some stories as reasons for carrying out their dubious intention.
A fast check revealed that the purported OYSF members who were assembled as decampees at the state secretariat of the PDP in Osogbo were various innocent and hired members of the public and commercial motorcycle riders who were sourced from the state capital and some neighbouring towns for as little fee as N5000.
It was because Governor Ademola Adeleke and his party were rattled by the ongoing gale of defections from the ruling party in the state which prompted them to stage-manage the defection of some hand-picked hired persons from the APC to the PDP.
Further investigation showed that some smart and dubious members of the PDP merely used the catastrophic defections of some notable PDP members into the leading opposition APC to make a brisk business by selling the dummy of the false defection to Governor Adeleke and his co-travellers who took the deceit in hook, line and sinker.
It was learnt that each of the purported decampees who were raked from various streets were promised to be given N5000.00k for taking part in the make-believe defection exercise.
Fight however, subsequently broke out at the end of the stage-managed false defection exercise when the conscripted, hired and fake decampees were given N3000.00 each instead of the earlier N5000.00 promised earlier.
For how long would Governor Adeleke be using lies and subterfuge to run his government as it was the case in the fake defection story.
The way and manner that Governor Adeleke and his co-travellers are going about since the constant harvesting of their political party members by the opposition is an indication that they are in both tension and panicking mode which is the reason the fraudulent members of the ruling party have been taking undue advantage of them by selling to them proverbial dead birds.
The plight of the embattled Governor Adeleke and the members of the party who are swindling him through arrangements of fake defections could be likened to someone who is taking an undue advantage by licking the soup of a man in trouble being chased by a masquerade.
Those taking the advantage are quite aware that this is the only way they can have their own bite of the illicit government stashed funds in the Ede country home.
The members of the public and the esteemed members of our party should disregard the make-believe defection of the OYSF episode as it was a lie skillfully and dubiously packaged into a resemblance of a truth to enable its protagonists cash out and subsequently smiling to the bank.
The stage-managed false defection exercise did not add up and its handlers were being clever by half as the purported OYSF which did not exist during the sorjourn of Senator Omisore in the Socialist Democratic Party SDP could not have been imported into the APC which has exposed and rubished the ulterior intention of its mastermind.
Can’t those who are thinking for the embattled Governor Adeleke for once elongate their thinking skill and think out of the box for them to discover that their principal has fallen victim of political scammers who took an undue advantage of his pathetic political state of despondency?
