A highly respected Medical Laboratory Scientist, accomplished administrator, and experienced legislator, Hon Bola Akinloye brings over three decades of excellence across healthcare, research, and governance. Hailing from Elewe’s Compound in Ikire-Ile, Olaoluwa Lg, Osun State, he has cultivated a strong academic and professional foundation that distinguishes him among his peers. He is about rounding up his Ph.D in Microbiology ( Medical Virology Option) at Osun State University, building on his Master’s degree in Medical Microbiology from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology. As a Fellow of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (FMLSCN), his expertise in clinical diagnostics and public health is widely recognized.
His academic journey is further enriched by a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Entrepreneurship, alongside postgraduate qualifications in Human Resource Management and Education. In public service, Hon. Akinloye served meritoriously as a two-term member of the Osun State House of Assembly from 2011 to 2019. During this period, he held strategic leadership positions, including Senatorial Whip for Osun West legislators, Chairman of the House Committee on Environment, and Chairman of the House Committee on Information. His legislative impact extended across key committees such as Health, Public Accounts, and Judiciary, where he contributed significantly to policy development and oversight. His discipline and dedication earned him the recognition as the “Most Punctual Honourable Member” in 2018.
Within the political space, Hon. Akinloye is a committed stakeholder of the All Progressives Congress (APC), with a longstanding history of political engagement and party loyalty.
