Osun 2026: APC Debunks False Disqualification Claim Against Hon. Oluwole Oke

0 696

The attention of our office has been drawn to a circulating post alleging that Hon. Oluwole Oke has been disqualified by the All Progressives Congress (APC).

We wish to state, calmly and unequivocally, that this claim is entirely false and should be disregarded by members of the press and the general public.

At no point has the APC screened out anyone, let alone disqualified any aspirant. The publication in question bears all the hallmarks of deliberate mischief, consistent with a pattern of distortion and misinformation that does little to elevate public discourse. While we respect the right of individuals to express opinions, it is important that such expressions are grounded in facts, not conjecture or malice.

We note, without rancour, that public communication, whether in law, media, or emerging content spaces, demands discipline, responsibility, and fidelity to truth. These are the qualities that distinguish credible voices from mere noise.

Hon. Oluwole Oke remains fully engaged with party leadership and stakeholders, steadfast in his commitment to the collective goal of securing victory for the APC, particularly in support of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji. His focus remains on constructive engagement and strategic mobilisation, not distractions.

It is evident that such unfounded claims are often borne out of anxiety in the face of shifting political realities. Our task remains clear and undistracted: to decisively confront and overcome the forces at Abeere, and that we shall do.

While it is not our place to dignify mischief with undue attention, it is worth noting that those who struggle to command support at the grassroots should be cautious in peddling narratives that will ultimately be tested and disproven across all 22 wards.

Nonetheless, we will not be drawn into needless exchanges. The facts will continue to speak for themselves in due course.

We assure the public that the APC in Osun State remains united, focused, and firmly on course.

Hon. Wole Oke is on course.
