Women leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osogbo Federal Constituency have intensified grassroots mobilization efforts for the candidacy of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) ahead of the August 15 governorship election in Osun State. The women embarked on an extensive door-to-door campaign across Ifon, Ilona, and Erin communities in Orolu and Irepodun Local Government Areas, engaging residents on the need to support and vote for the APC candidate.

During the campaign, the team distributed food items to women, the elderly, and other vulnerable members of the communities as part of efforts to identify with them and cushion prevailing economic challenges. The women leaders used the opportunity to canvass support for Oyebamiji, assuring residents that his administration would prioritize the welfare and empowerment of women through inclusive policies and programmes if elected governor. They urged beneficiaries and community members to reciprocate the gesture by casting their votes for the APC on election day.

The campaign team was led by Princess Adejoke Adejobi and supported by Hon. Yetunde Salami, alongside other prominent women leaders drawn from various wards and local government areas within Osogbo Federal Constituency. The leaders reaffirmed their commitment to delivering overwhelming support for the APC candidate, expressing confidence that Oyebamiji possesses the vision, experience, and capacity to advance the development of Osun State and improve the living standards of its people.
