Osun City Boy Movement To Hold Town Hall Meeting, Inaugurate State, LG Executives Tomorrow
The Osun State Chapter of the City Boy Movement will tomorrow, Sunday, October 4th, 2026, hold a Town Hall Meeting and Inaugurate State Executives and Local Government Coordinators across Osun state.
The Movement will also unveil its new State Secretariat in Osogbo tomorrow.
The event, which is expected to bring together youth leaders, political stakeholders, members and supporters of the Movement from across Osun State, will be held at the Aurora Event Centre, Osogbo.
The Movement, in a statement by the State Director, Hon. Kayode Sowade, issued and made available to journalists by the Osun City Boy Movement Director of Media and Publicity, Mr. Yakubu Atanda, said the event is organised to strengthen the existing bond and galvanize support for the party in the forthcoming general elections.
The Town Hall Meeting, with a theme: “*Nigeria and its Emerging Revenue Structure: What Has Tinubu Done Differently To Deserve A Second Term*”, will have in attendance, City Boy National Patron who doubled as the son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Seyi Tinubu. Also expected to grace the event is Hon. Ayodele Olawande (City Boy Movement National Patron); Hon. Oluwatosin Francis Shoga (City Boy Movement Director General); Hon. Femi Oyetola (City Boy Movement Patron, Osun State Chapter) and Hon. Kayode Sowade (City Boy Movement Director, Osun State Chapter respectively.
The lead discussant is J.J Omojuwa.
“The City Boy Movement has a specific role of mobilising, engaging and coordinating young people in support of the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 General Election, while encouraging greater youth participation in Nigeria’s political and democratic processes.
“The town hall meeting and inauguration of the State Executive and Local Government Coordinators would provide a structured platform for youth engagement and grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 electoral cycle while the unveiling of City Boy House, would further provide a central point for coordination, meetings, political engagement and youth-oriented activities of the Movement in the State”, the statement said.
