Osun APC Restoration Forum Reaffirms Oyetola’s Leadership, Urges Unity And Reconciliation

The Osun APC Restoration Forum hereby reaffirms, without equivocation, that His Excellency, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy and former Governor of Osun State, remains our leader and a respected pillar of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State.
As a Forum committed to the restoration, unity and strengthening of the APC in Osun State, we believe that leadership must be recognised, respected and appreciated, particularly when individuals have demonstrated commitment to the growth and stability of the party.

We therefore commend and celebrate Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola for his contributions to the APC in Osun State and for his conduct, commitment and leadership before, during and after the 2026 Osun State governorship election.

The Forum acknowledges the difficult political circumstances surrounding the election and appreciates the role played by our leaders, stakeholders, members and supporters who remained committed to the party and its ideals throughout the electoral process.

For us in the Osun APC Restoration Forum, recognising Oyetola’s leadership is not about creating division or diminishing the contributions of other party leaders. Rather, it is about acknowledging a leader whose experience, political maturity and commitment remain valuable assets to the APC.

We call on all members and supporters of the APC in Osun State to remain united, disciplined and focused. The challenges facing the party can only be overcome through genuine reconciliation, mutual respect, responsible leadership and collective determination.

We also urge party members to avoid unnecessary divisions and personal attacks. The future of the APC in Osun State requires that we build bridges, strengthen our grassroots structures and provide a credible alternative for the people of the state.

The Osun APC Restoration Forum stands firmly for unity, restoration, reconciliation and progress within the party.

We therefore reiterate:
Gboyega Oyetola is our leader.
His contributions deserve to be acknowledged and appreciated.
His leadership remains important to the future of APC in Osun State.

We commend him before, during and after the governorship election, and we encourage all stakeholders to work together towards a stronger, more united and more formidable APC in Osun State.
